Protective Factors are linked to a lower incidence of child abuse and neglect:

· Family and School Rewards for Prosocial Improvement
Recognizing how harmful substance use disorders or co-occurring disorders can be in our community, our mission is to empower students ages 14-19 through a therapeutic, emotionally, socially and spiritually safe environment with high-quality education to grow academically.
Our aim is to promote long-term recovery from substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders through education, advocacy and recovery support year-round.
Our non-profit organization, Florida Recovery Schools of Tampa Bay, Inc. was established in May 2020. We opened our first Recovery High School in Pasco County in April 2021. Victory High Schools are now open in Pasco and Pinellas Counties serving males and females ages 14-19 years old with substance use disorders or co-occurring disorders. We are opening a new Victory High School in Hillsborough County in October 2024.
VHS is an answer to the call sent out by parents desperate for an ally to help save their community, protect their children, and foster growth and achievement to ensure bright futures. Students have an opportunity to learn healthy coping skills and participate in positive peer group activities. VHS provides a safe, healing-centered environment to educate our students.
Our primary goal is to save young people’s lives! Our goals are to improve school attendance, reduce dropout rates, increase graduation rates, reduce relapse, improve mental health, reduce cost to society, and improve emotional wellness and self-regulation. We support our students with weekly individual counseling sessions, assessments for proper placement if a higher level of care is necessary, and to help them live their best lives by earning their diploma sober.
A parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
We are grateful for the state funding, grants, foundations, and individual donations to provide this unique private school experience to ALL students who qualify for Victory High Schools. If we determine to be the best fit for your child, we look forward to working with your child.
A one-time $250 Registration Fee, and $1,200/month Tuition Fee. No family is declined due to financial circumstances. All of our students qualify for financial assistance if it be through state scholarships, grants, and/or donations from the community.
